Susan graduated from Western Illinois University. She also attended the Illinois Institute for the Blind. She was a volunteer in the Learning Center at St. Thomas School. She married David Saiz on June 17, 1984. Susan died on December 28, 1984. She was a very considerate and thoughtful person and she is greatly missed.

Geri Lortie (Graves)
Sue was a very sweet girl. I got to know her better when we were out of school and belonged to a singles club through St. Thomas church. Sue lovingly accepted her trial of diabetes and even blindness with a special grace. Although she wasn't married very long, she was very happy. She had a wonderful family, and I feel fortunate to have known Sue.
