DEBORAH (STOWE) MILLER Obituary
 
ELGIN - Deborah (Stowe) Miller lost her battle with cancer on Wednesday, October 1st at only 61. She grew up in Crystal Lake, Illinois the oldest of six children to Warren Stowe (1928-2010) and Helen (Schwartz) Stowe. She graduated 1970 from Crystal Lake Community High School. She was married to Bradley Miller for 37 years until his untimely passing in 2009. They are survived by their children Michael Miller and Megan (and Chris) Johnson; grandchildren Clayton Miller-Webb and Maverick & Isaac Johnson; brothers, sisters and in-laws, Jim Stowe, Barb (and Bob) Barnes, Kim (and Jay) Jones, John Stowe and Lisa Rae, Jeff (and Sandy) Miller, Randy Miller (and Jeri Palermo) and Jackie Miller; nieces and nephews, Mark, Michelle, Alex, Adam, Robb, Micki, Sheree, Jeremie, James, Brian, Brandon, Stephen, Stephanie, Jason, Camille, Tyler, and many great-nieces and nephews. Deborah was an unconditionally loving caregiver to all, an avid reader and collector, gave generous donations and loved spiritual worship and evangelism. She was a member of New Covenant Fellowship of Elgin for over 30 years. She will always be remembered as a devoted Christian, daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother, aunt and grandmother. Many thanks to staff and volunteers at The Bob & Edna Meadows Regional Cancer Care Center, Presence St. Joseph Hospital and Third-Floor Nursing Staff and Presence Hospice. Your care and patience was a blessing unveiled before us. Deborah and Bradley were laid to rest together at Willwood Burial Park, 7000 W. State St., Rockford, Illinois on Saturday, October 18, 2014. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to New Covenant Fellowship for their continued work in ministry. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31.
